11/9/16 - Part-Time Seasonal Customer Service Representative

We're looking for someone with friendly & helpful customer service skills who could work opening and closing shifts.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

- Greeting customers as they enter and leave the store
- Learning the store's layout and product lines
- Ability to accurately enter numerical data at the register
- Helping customers find toys and make helpful suggestions for a variety of age ranges
- Willing to work independently when required, with attention to detail
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to spend entire shift on your feet (except during breaks)
- Tidying and stocking the store inventory
- Ability to use an 8 ft. ladder, if needed

Qualities we look for in our potential employees include:

- Excellent customer service
- Experience working with children is helpful

- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and friendly disposition, even in high pressure situations, such as the holiday season at a toy store
- Retail experience, including knowledge of Point Of Sale systems and cash registers is helpful, training is also available
- Comfortable taking direction from senior staff members
- Excited to learn new skills, apply those skills, and receive work performance feedback
- High School Diploma or equivalent
